DESCRIPTION:Register now for the Suzann Pettersen Amateur Qualifier June 2-3\, 2026 at The Fortress Golf Course located in beautiful Frankenmuth\, Michigan. The Suzann Pettersen Amateur Qualifier is the official amateur qualifier for the Dow Championship. This single-entry stroke play event includes 36 holes played over two days. Field size will consist of 48 maximum contestants with the winner receiving an exemption into the Dow Championship at the Midland Country Club on June 8-14\, 2026. The winner of the qualifier will be able to pick their own playing partner and team up for the Dow Championship\, the only team event on the LPGA tour. \nClick here to view and download all rules and guidelines. \nEntry Fee: $175 per Player. Fee includes Monday practice\, competitive rounds\, welcome reception for players\, breakfast and lunch on both days of competition\, range balls pre-tournament rounds and a tournament registration gift bag. \nRegistration: Entry form and fee must be completed and paid online below. Registration begins Wednesday\, March 2nd and ends Monday\, May 25th\,  2026. \nAbout the Dow Championship\nThe Dow Championship was introduced to the LPGA Tour schedule in 2019. 144 of the world’s best golfers will tee off again at the Midland Country Club in Michigan\, June 8-14\, 2026. The Dow Championship is played with 72 two-woman teams competing in a 72-hole stroke play format with alternating rounds of foursomes (alternate shot) and four-ball (best ball).\nThe tournament was founded with the vision of building community and accelerating the efforts of the Great Lakes Bay Region and Dow’s strategy by building a world-class and unique LPGA Tour event that positively impacts people’s lives. \nAbout Suzann Pettersen\nIn her 19-year professional career\, Suzann “Tutta” Pettersen won 15 times on the LPGA Tour and 7 times on the Ladies European Tour including two major championships: the 2007 LPGA Championship and the 2013 Evian Championship. She also had runner-up finishes in the U.S. Women’s Open\, the Women’s British Open and the ANA Inspiration. \nSuzann’s consistency was evidenced by the 419 weeks she appeared in the top 10 in the World Rankings and the 146 top-10 finishes she earned while playing on the LPGA Tour. She is perhaps most known for her nine Solheim Cup appearances where she was one of Europe’s leading point earners. Her career was capped at the 2019 Solheim Cup where she clinched the winning point for Europe and immediately retired from the professional game. \nTerms and Conditions\nBy completing the registration process\, we hereby make formal Application for Entry as participants in the Suzann Pettersen Amateur Qualifier Tournament to be conducted June 2-3\, 2026. In consideration of the acceptance of this application\, and as further condition to our participation in this LPGA Qualifier\, we further agree to abide by the Tournament Rules\, Conditions of Competition\, Local Rules\, and Dow Championship regulations and requirements pertaining to the qualifier. It is our further understanding that my individual entry fee of $175 shall be refunded in the event that this application is not accepted. We further understand our entry fee shall not be refunded after the entry deadline.
