Zehnder's Snowfest has been host to one of the top snow and ice sculpting events in North America for the past 33 years. Visitors have enjoyed larger-than-life snow sculptures and beautifully detailed ice carvings each year. In addition, Zehnder's Snowfest will have entertainment for the entire family in the warming tent, a fireworks display, petting zoo and children's activities. The Zehnder's Snowfest Baking Contest is back for Snowfest 2026! Once again, participants will have the chance to bake up some sweet desserts during Snowfest's "ABC Baking Contest" on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 starting at 10 a.m. inside Zehnder's Snowfest Warming Tent. The ABC Baking Contest is the official kick-off event of Zehnder's Snowfest happening January 28 - Febraury 1, 2026. Amateur bakers will participate in the following categories for top prizes: Apple Delights, Brownie Extravaganza and Cupcake Extravaganza. Admission to the event is FREE to spectators and includes complimentary dessert samples, prizes, recipes books and entertainment. This event is sponsored by Michigan Sugar, Le Creuset® and WSGW 790 AM.
