Join us for a one-of-a-kind, hands-on experience with the Iron Fish Distillery as we take you behind the scenes of traditional bourbon barrel-making. Discover the craftsmanship that goes into every barrel – from raw oak to the final charred cask – led by seasoned coopers and expert distillers. You’ll learn the history and science of barrel aging, and witness live demonstrations of barrel assembly and charring.
Cap off the experience with a guided tasting of Iron Fish’s finest barrel-aged bourbons, and gain a deeper appreciation for the flavors only time and wood can create.

• Learn about white oak and why it’s used in whiskey barrels
• Using old world methods, including live fire, Joe Smith; Master Cooper at Croze Nest Oak Barrels, will build a complete barrel ready for whiskey
